Tru Barre Studio is now offering our amazing workouts in real time, with new VIRTUAL LIVE-STREAM classes -- experience the

in-studio class vibe from the comfort of your own home!

We’re piloting live-stream classes in the Valley studio over the next few weeks, with plans to offer the service at both studios. 

As we continue to navigate this pandemic,  it’s time to re-focus on our health again -- mind, body, and spirit all stand to gain from getting back to the barre! If you’ve struggled with pushing play and motivating yourself to stay physically active this is a great, new option for you.

Virtual classes are EASY TO ACCESS and available in packages and for one-time purchase through your Mindbody account. Share with your friends, too -- it’s a great way to introduce them to the magic of barre!   

HOW TO JOIN A VIRTUAL LIVE STREAM CLASS:

Step 1:  Check your email for the live steam link.  Live stream links are sent out 30 minutes before the start of class.  

Step 2:  Decide which browser and devise you’ll use to attend class

On a desktop, live stream classes work better on Google Chrome.  You can also download Mindbody Live -this will improve the live stream experience on a desktop or laptop.

On a mobile device, the best experience will be found on IOS Safari or Chrome for Android.

If you are using an IOS device, you must disable the pop-up blocker.

Heres how to do that:

1.  Go to Settings > Safari

2. In the General section, tap the Block Pop-ups toggle

Step 3:  Log in to the live stream class

You have a couple of login options here.  You can log in with:

• Your studio login:  This is the login you use to access the studio’s site on a web browser.

• Your Mindbody account:  This is the login you use to access your Mindbody account

If class hasn’t started yet, you’ll hang out in a waiting room.

Step 4:  Set your camera and microphone preferences

Your browser will ask to access your camera and microphone Choose Allow-you’ll still be able to mute your mic or turn off your camera in class if you’d like, but enabling at the browser level ensures you have control once the live stream starts.  We ask you mute your microphone once on the stream

Step 5:  Join the class

When you are ready to join the class, click Join at the top

You can click on the Full screen icon on the right 

Using Live Stream Chat:

To open the chat box, click on the chat icon on the top left of your screen

The chat box will open, where you can post a message to your instructor or other participants in the class, and they can reply.
